Welcome to Mountain Kingdom hosted by InvitedHome. Reminiscent of classic mountain cabins but with an elegant upgrade, the main living area has lavish leather chairs and a large couch. Wherever you sit, you’ll get to sprawl out in front of a huge wood-burning fireplace made of large stones and wood beams. Built into the structure, which stretches two stories high to the lofted ceiling, is a flat screen TV and a sound system. From this room, gaze out the two-story window across the tops of pine trees to the valley below. For an even better look, take advantage of the telescope set up by the window. Just off from the main living area is the sumptuous dining room, where a long wooden table can seat up to eight guests in plush, high-backed chairs. Overhead, wrought iron chandeliers pay homage to Colorado’s Old West heritage. Behind the dining table there’s a breakfast bar made of polished granite, where six more guests can dine.

The kitchen is the heart of the home for good reason. Open and with plenty of room for prepping and cooking, family and friends can experience the joy of planning a meal together. The open design also lets guests sitting on the breakfast bar, at the dining table, or even in the living room interact with the action in the kitchen. Two king bedrooms are located on the top floor with ensuites. Two more bedrooms are located on the upper level. One has a king-size bed, while the other has a king-size bed and three additional twin beds. Each of these rooms has its own attached ensuite bathroom. On the lower level, there’s cozy additional living space, as well as two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a king-size bed and the other has three twin beds, and both have attached ensuite bathrooms. The game room on this level offers a slightly more casual space to sprawl and relax, and includes a large couch, a shuffleboard table, a TV and entertainment system, and a pool table. This ideal entertainment room also has a bar with three stools and a full kitchenette. From here, you can also access the relaxing sauna.

When you stay at Mountain Kingdom, space and privacy will never be an issue. There’s an additional apartment over the garage that has its own living room, kitchen, and bathroom, as well as a separate bedroom with two queen-size beds and two twins. This is ideal for families, or just for additional sleeping and living space for larger groups. To maximize space in the home, the breezeway that connects to the garage also serves as an outdoor kitchen and lounge area, complete with a grill, stone pizza oven, and plenty of counter space. While the food is cooking, kickback on any of the wooden rocking chairs that look outward over the impossibly beautiful Breckenridge mountains. To further immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings, head down the backyard, where stump seating creates a rustic experience amid the grand luxury in the home up the hill. Or, relax in the outdoor hot tub and watch the stars come out in the clear Colorado sky. All of this comes together to create a Breckenridge vacation with family and friends that you’ll remember forever.

WHAT WE LOVE

- Hiking any of the renowned trails that are just a few minutes from the home. The Quandary Peak Trail and McCullough Gulch Trail are less than five minutes away, and are great for experienced hikers. Of the two, McCullough Gulch is easier and more dog-friendly.

- Getting the adrenaline going on a whitewater rafting trip. Head to nearby Frisco to find plenty of rental and tour companies, then get ready for wet and wild adventure.

- Learning a bit of Breckenridge history for free at the Edwin Carter Discovery Center. Though small, this museum has artifacts, information, videos, and more on the history of this mountainous area.

WHAT TO KNOW

- Everyone in your group must be over 25 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

- The maximum occupancy is 12 people

- The maximum number of cars at the property is 5

- Due to the remote location of the home, internet service can be spotty. Bring your board games and movies in the event that service is weak.

- This drive to this home can be difficult during the winter; please ensure you have 4WD and/or winter tires on all vehicles.

- Dogs can be allowed with homeowner approval. Additional $150 pet cleaning per dog, plus $50 per day per dog will be added to the reservation.

- The fire pit in the back yard is not usable per town code.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER BOOKING

- Confirmation will be sent via email after booking.

- If arrival date is more than 110 days prior to booking, half of the grand total is due upon booking and the remaining balance is due 110 days prior to arrival.

- For reservations exceeding eight days, please expect our Reservation Team to reach out to schedule an In-Stay Refresh and process payment.
